THERAPY

Individual and couples psychotherapy for the moments life asks more of you than you feel you have to give - a space to slow down, be understood, and find your way back to yourself and the people you love.

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

Life changes us, and there are times when what once worked no longer feels like enough. Individual therapy offers a supportive space to slow down, reflect, and gently explore the patterns, experiences, and challenges shaping your life right now. Sessions are available virtually, with limited in-person options as well. My work is informed by psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral approaches, but more importantly, I meet each person as an individual. Rather than expecting you to fit into a single model, I work collaboratively and thoughtfully, drawing on the methods that best support your needs, goals, and growth. Over time, therapy becomes a process of learning how to “dance” together in a way that feels safe, responsive, and meaningful.

Fee: $190 per session

COUPLES THERAPY

Relationships naturally change over time, and seasons of strain, disconnection, or transition can leave couples feeling uncertain, hurt, or far from one another. Couples therapy offers a caring space to slow down, understand what is happening between you, and begin creating new ways of relating that feel more connected and supportive. Sessions are available virtually, with limited in-person options as well. My work is informed by Gottman, Imago, and family systems training, and I draw from these approaches in a way that honors the unique needs of each couple. My focus is on the relationship itself, and I work carefully to help both partners feel heard, respected, and understood. I also recognize that all relationships are cross cultural which is where tension is often experienced. I also pay close attention to how the process is feeling for both of you and adjust along the way as needed. The goal is to help you create a new relationship “dance” that reflects who you are now and supports the kind of connection you want to build together.

Fee: $300 per session

ENNEAGRAM- INFORMED WORK

In addition to standard treatment methods, I integrate the Enneagram into individual and couple’s therapy. It also provides a foundational framework for the Academy for Evolving Relationships. The Enneagram is a personality system that brings together psychology and spirituality. It is not religion-based. Instead, it offers a way to explore the meaning you have given to your life journey and how that understanding has influenced your personality, patterns, and relationships. It does not tell you who you are, it tells you how learned to be the way you show up. This early learning has trapped you in believing this is “just who I am”. Guess what? You are that but so much more!

COMMON REASONS PEOPLE SEEK HELP

DEPRESSION

Sometimes depression does not look like sadness. It looks like exhaustion, emotional numbness, irritability, difficulty concentrating, withdrawal from relationships, or simply moving through life without joy or meaning. Many people struggling with depression continue functioning outwardly while quietly carrying an overwhelming emotional weight internally. Often, individuals seek help when they realize they no longer feel like themselves. The strategies that once worked are no longer enough. Relationships may feel distant, motivation may decline, and even small daily tasks can begin to feel emotionally heavy.Therapy provides a space to slow down, explore what may be contributing to these feelings, and begin reconnecting with yourself in a more compassionate and meaningful way.

LIFE TRANSITIONS, RELATIONSHIP STRESS, AND EMOTIONAL OVERWHELM

Not every difficult season of life fits neatly into a mental health diagnosis. Sometimes people seek therapy because they feel stuck, disconnected, emotionally overwhelmed, or uncertain about who they are becoming. Major life transitions -such as divorce, grief, parenting challenges, relationship conflict, career changes, retirement, caregiving responsibilities, or spiritual questioning—can leave people feeling emotionally ungrounded. Others arrive because they notice repetitive relationship patterns that they do not fully understand. They may feel emotionally exhausted from over-functioning, rescuing others, difficulty setting boundaries, or repeatedly finding themselves in painful relational dynamics.Therapy offers a space for reflection, emotional clarity, and personal growth. You do not have to wait until life completely falls apart to seek support. Sometimes therapy begins simply because a person is ready to live with greater awareness, balance, and authenticity.

ANXIETY

Anxiety often develops gradually. Many people describe living in a constant state of overthinking, emotional tension, worry, or internal restlessness. Others have trouble sleeping, racing thoughts, irritability, panic, physical tension, or a persistent feeling that something bad is about to happen - even when they cannot explain why. For some, anxiety has become so familiar that they no longer recognize how much energy it consumes. People often seek help when the stress of holding everything together becomes exhausting. They may notice that fear, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or emotional overwhelm are interfering with relationships, work, decision-making, or their ability to feel present and at peace. Therapy can help identify the underlying patterns contributing to anxiety while developing healthier ways of responding to stress, uncertainty, and emotional discomfort.

THERAPEUTIC APPROACHES

COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPY

It’s not so much what happens to us, but it is very much the meaning we decide to make of it. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy helps individuals recognize the connection between thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and physical responses. Often, the way we think about ourselves, others, and the world influences how we feel and respond emotionally. CBT helps identify unhelpful thought patterns, emotional reactions, and behavioral habits that may contribute to anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or chronic stress. The goal is not simply “positive thinking,” but greater awareness, emotional flexibility, and healthier coping strategies. This approach can be especially helpful for individuals seeking practical tools for managing emotional distress while developing a deeper understanding of their internal experiences.

PSYCHODYNAMIC THERAPY

Psychodynamic Therapy explores how early relationships, family history, and unconscious patterns shape the way we move through life. It helps us understand how past experiences and unresolved emotional conflicts continue to influence present-day thoughts, feelings, and relationships. Sometimes people find themselves repeating the same emotional patterns without fully understanding why. Psychodynamic work helps bring greater awareness to these underlying dynamics so that long-standing relational and emotional patterns can be understood more clearly and approached differently. This process encourages deeper self-awareness, emotional insight, and meaningful personal growth over time.

FAMILY SYSTEMS THERAPY

Family Systems Therapy recognizes that individuals do not exist in isolation. We are shaped by the relationships, roles, communication patterns, and emotional dynamics within our families and broader relational systems. Many struggles that appear individual are connected to larger relational patterns involving boundaries, conflict, caregiving roles, emotional distance, generational beliefs, or unspoken expectations. This approach helps individuals, couples, and families better understand how relational patterns develop and how healthier ways of communicating and relating can emerge. The goal is not blame, but awareness, understanding, and growth.
